Units are insured to a maximum of R500,00.00 per vehicle. If it exceeds this amount then arrangements will needed to be to self insure. Exotic and Classic cars will also need to be self insured. In the event of damages, whilst in transit, then a claim must be submitted within 48 hours from the time of delivery. The extent of the damage needs to be endorsed on the delivery note. This claim will then be forwarded to the Carriers Underwriters for processing.

Whilst every effort is made to get your vechicle to you as soon as possible, delivery can be expected within 7-10 working days dependant on destination. Please contact us to make special arrangements should you require.

We are currently installing a computer programme on our website which will in due course allow you to log in, on line and establish the whereabouts of your vehicle. In the interim you will receive a daily status report by email from Combine Freight giving the precise location of your vehicle.

Unfortunately due to the size of the carrier and its restrictive movements these vehicles cannot be accommodated in residential areas. As an alternative we have an extensive coverage of Dealers throughout South Africa and arrangements can be made through our offices to the most convenient location to your residence. This will be handled by Combine Freight staff.

Our carriers are well established operatives who are well versed in providing a service where you are assured your vehicle will be well looked after. They will ensure the vehicle is well secured and contained on the trailer. In the event of there being a mishap the Carriers holds coverage up to R500,000.00 per vehicle for an incident.

Motorcycles can be transported at “Owners Risk”.

No personal belongings can be transported in the vehicle whilst in the custody of the Carrier.
